BACK blogging!!!

Back after having stopped blogging for so long ever since posted to new unit.. I just didn't know what to blog about since army things were mostly confidential and photos were limited. In truth, I was also just too tired too blog. Ha.

Anyway I got into OCS!! Yay!! Just what I had been dreaming of even before I got into NS. 3 months of my time were pass in SAFTI where I did CLM(Common Leadership Module) in Hotel Wing before moving on to Sierra Wing to do my Service term. I practically enjoyed my time back in SAFTI because the instructors and fellow comrades there were great!! I was then posted to SCE(Singapore Combat Engineer) as an Engineer Officer Cadet(EOC) at Engineer Training Institude(ETI) @ Nee Soon Camp for the remaining 5 months and afterwhich get commissioned as an officer on the 20.06.09. Life in ETI is totally different or what army people would call it a "cultural shock". We have quite a few officers in there who are quite sadistic. There was once a captain was seen lecturing a 2Lt infront of us,the cadets, for falling in us too early!! What kind of respect is that for a newly commisiioned 2Lt!! So what if you are a guy with a rank of a captain. You will never see a major scolding a captain in front of his own trainees. Hopefully my 5 months in there pass really fast and I hope I get posted to bridging or armour as an bridging or armour engineer because I don't want to stay on as a field engineer.

Fun @ The Cage!!

Yesterday met up with some of my BMT mates to play soccer @ The Cage in Kallang. Quite a nice place to go and play your soccer and it is pretty cheap too cause it was booked at student price. It cost $25/hr for students and $50/hr for normal adults. I paid $5 only cause there were lots of people there yesterday! Was surprised to see our sir join us yesterday but sadly our sergeants weren't free. I played for like 2 hours before resting and going for my evening run. The place there had like this huge fan on top of the court and when you are playing in the field, it is so damn cooling!

Evening time I went to run alone cause my dad wasn't free to join me. We did 6 sets of power training at Telok Blangah Hill but I only did 5 sets as I was feeling quite tired and can feel the cramps on my legs starting to come in. How I really admire those runners who runs really fast and especially since they are already so old like in their 40's. It's like every lap I did, they will be a minute faster than me and quite consistent throughout the whole training unlike me whose timing keeps increasing. Ha. Anyway I shall keep training hard till I reached their standard :P. Hopefully...

1 week of my block leave have almost passed! How time passes so fast when I have been enjoyinging myself this past 1 week. Soon I will know where I will be posted to and I hope it would be to OCS. But I know my chances of being posted there are slim because I did not get gold for my IPPT and that there are too many strong candidates in my company. But still I keep my fingers cross and hope that I still make it through. It is all down to this friday...

Later I will be meeting up with most of my platoon mates to play soccer at the cage. My first time going there so I want to experience what it is like to play indoor though it has been some time since I kicked a soccer ball. After that in the evening will be going SAFRA to run. They will be doing power/speed training at Telok Blangah Hill today. Going to be one hell of a tough training for me! But I'm just going to enjoy myself later though cause I'm going to kick some balls!!! Wahahaha..

Have been slacking the whole day at home today. Sleep..Eat..Sleep..Eat.. Probably another life of me when I'm outside NS. Love it at times but also hate it at times cause I'm just wandering my time away needlessly.

Had planned to run with the people at Mt Faber SAFRA Running Club people but somehow I didn't have the interest to go run after looking at their training program on my email. They were going to do 6 loops round Mt Faber after which 2 times of staircase. Don't think I can even endure that terrain anymore because I lost all my endurance ever since I entered NS. In Tekong, we are always doing speed training. The longest distance we probably ran was about 4km only. Anyway, I think I will let my body recover the next few days and start my running again from next week onwards.

This coming Saturday is a special day for me, but I can't think of what to do on that day. Haiz.

POP & NYAA Gold

Oh.. Finally back after soooooooo darn bloody long.!! Today was my Passing Out Parade!! Wheee.. "Graduated" from BMTC School 1 with hopes of making it to OCS in a weeks time. My time in Tekong was pretty much filled with full of challenges and memories for me. I must admit that I had a pretty "crazy" time in there with all my platoon mates!! Wahaha..

Today my POP started at around 1600 hours. The weather there was pretty good to us considering that during our last few rehearsals, we were standing in the blazing hot sun around that time too and most of us almost got sun-burned. Nevertheless, all of us made it through the parade and sadly my company got 1 guy fainted. There goes our company's pride!! Lol. After the parade, we had ample time for photo-taking sessions as we were to be the 5th company to take the ferry service back to Singapore.

Lastly, I just want to announced that I finally achieved my NYAA Gold. I will be receiving the award from the President himself on the 3rd October. Looking forward to that day!!

Worst Day of my Running Career!!!

Yesterday was neither a good nor a bad day for me.

The good news is that the NYAA Gold Award Interview was not so scary as I imagine it to be. I arrived at the NYAA Council at 1415 hours, 15 minutes earlier from my actual interview time. It was a one-to-one interview and the questions were basically quite easy to answer. Throughout the whole interview, the interviewer that interviewed me gave me the perception as if I had already gotten the award! She first ask me which organization I was from and then at the end of the interview asked me to go home to upload and send her some photos so that she can use it to make a video. Then told me when the ceremony will be, how I should be able to take leave on the day from NS to attend the ceremony, explain to me about NYAA GAHA(Gold Award Holder Alumni) and so on. The GAHA is where all past NYAA Gold Award recipients meet up and continue doing what they like, helping the community! The interviewer ask me continue on to mentor my alma mater and encourage them to take up this NYAA Gold Award and I said I will!! Haha. Anyway I love my scout group for everything they have taught me and I hope to continue helping them as much as I could. Anyway the interview lasted about 20 mins and this are some of the questions:

1) Interviewer goes through the activities that I have done for this NYAA scheme.
2) Interviewer: How have you benefited from doing this NYAA?
3) Interviewer: Which is the hardest section you have done in this NYAA Scheme?

And the bad thing that happen to me yesterday is that my running sucks yesterday!! Never in my whole running life have I done so badly yesterday. Was supposed to do 6 sets of 1.6km round Telok Blangah Hill yesterday, but I didn't managed to complete it!! I only did 4 rounds and I was already so shag out. Haizz. It was like as if my whole body lag of energy or something. Anyway,

I vow that this will be my last time such a thing happen ever again!! Grrr...

Going to pack my bag for tomorrow soon. Going to miss everybody for this 3 weeks. Take care people. Your time will come soon so enjoy while you can! Haha..

Been busy these few days so didn't have the time to update my blog. So here is just a brief post on what I had been doing the last few days of my civilization life.

5/7/2008:
Had volunteered myself to help out in the packing of race kit pack for the OSIM Triathlon. We started packing at 1000 hours and finished at around 1630 hours approximately. By right I could have gone home immediately after the whole packing is done, but I just stayed on to wait for the dinner to arrive cause they had ordered lots of packed food and it would be a waste if they end up throwing away the food! Haha.

6/7/2008:
Went to catch the movie "Wanted" with my girlfriend. It would be our last outing before I enter army. The show is labeled as NC 16 cause it is so bloody!! Bullets flying through people's head and heart, it was a heart throbbing movie. After the movie, she went to my house to have dinner and she helped me clean up the hamsters cage which is so dirty after just 1 week. My water bills are confirm shooting up every month!! Talk about saving water. Haha. Sent her home after that.

7/7/2008:
Had volunteered to do packing again for OSIM Triathlon at Grand Mecure Roxy Hotel, their official sponsor hotel for this year event. The packing started at 1600 hours, this time it was packing of goodie bags. We had to pack at least 4000 goodie bags which will be given to the participants when they collect their race kit, and at the speed we went, we easily completed the packing in 3 hours!! However, I was asked to stay back a bit later to do some packing and transporting of items and ended up going back at about 2200 hours. The sad thing is that we were not given any volunteer's T-shirt which were only meant for those helping out on the race day event itself. The good thing is that, I got a $20 allowance because I did "OT"!! Haha. Swee..

8/7/2008:
Which is today. Here I am now writing on this blog. 2 more days till I enter army. A new phase of life for all boys to become man as said by many. Just hope that I achieve my goal during my 1 year 10 months in there and learn or gain something new to become a better person in life. My goal in getting into OCS is not because the pay is good or to "show off" to others whom many dream of getting into OCS but never got in. My ambition is to go in there and learn to be a leader!

Anyway, will be going for my NYAA Gold Award Interview later!! So nervous and wondering what questions they will be asking me later. Wish me best of luck people!! Another event that could change my life in the future so I'll do my best inside that interview room later. Haha.

Interval Training @ Queenstown Stadium

I did something weird yesterday in which it has been a long time since I did that too. I trimmed my fringe yesterday on my own!! It has been some time since I last trimmed my own fringe on my own. Hate the feeling of keeping long hair. Want to cut also can't, have to wait till next Thursday to get back that cooling sensation in my head. Haha.

Anyway, yesterday training was interval training at Queenstown Stadium. We had to do 5 sets of 1.2km, meaning 3 rounds of 5 sets. We began our warm up by doing a slow jog and making our way from Mt Faber SAFRA to the stadium. The whole slow jog process took me about 30 mins to reach the stadium. Had a short rest and then we started our intervals. My timings are:

1st lap: 5:14.42 mins
2nd lap: 5:11.78 mins
3rd lap: 5:19.18 mins
4th lap: -
5th lap: 5:19.43 mins

Well, my speed isn't really there yet but I looking to improve it once I'm in the army. Suppose to be doing a negative timing but instead my timing gets positive each time except for the 2nd lap. By the time it was the 4th lap, I was already quite tired so instead I did a run, rest, run kind. Thankfully the weather was pretty cool yesterday when the run was conducted or else I would be struggling to do this interval training. My pacer wasn't there yesterday cause he was heading to Gold Coast to take part in the Gold Coast Marathon as well as having his holiday trip over there. Cool. Next time I may want to take part in all these overseas marathon too and bring my gf there for a holiday. Haha. Anyway hope that he enjoys his trip there and doesn't miss his pacer much! Haha. Won't be seeing him for quite some time.

NYAA Gold Award Interview

I just received a letter from National Youth Achievement Award Council today asking me to book an appointment with them for the NYAA Gold Award Interview. Been looking forward to the day where I receive the award from the president himself! I'm pretty excited about this. Anyway back to the interview. Out of the many dates they provided me with, there were only 2 dates which I am able to make it. 7 or 8 July. However on the 7 July I got this volunteer event at 1600 hours and the interview starts at 1430 hours only, I decided to email them to fix the appointment on the 8 July which is just next week!! So nervous about the interview, wonder what they will ask me also. Prior going for the interview, I have to write a short essay on "How I have benefited from participating in the NYAA Scheme." I'm now in the midst of writing. Still thinking how to go about starting it. Shall get back to my essay. Hopefully all goes well for me!!

PI 1st Series Run

Just completed the 1st series of the Pearl Izumi Run run this morning at Bedok Reservoir Park. The total distance covered is about 12km. There are altogether 3 series of this Pearl Izumi Run. The 1st is this 12km run, the 2nd is a 21km run to prepare us for the SAFRA Bay Run aka Army Half Marathon and the final series is a 30km run to prepare for the year end Singapore Mararthon. I didn't sign up for this event as I will be entering NS soon so won't have the time to train up for this event with the SAFRA running club runners.

Today's run was meant to be a leisure run for me as I did not sign up for it. However 1 of the runners did not want to run for some reason, I took over his bib number!! Man oh man, got to do timing. The race started off at about 0730 hours with the women's category starting off first, after which followed by the men's category 10 mins later. I knew I started off too fast at the beginning because I wanted to follow my pacer, who started off really fast, and because my "engine" in the morning has not started plus I began to feel a tightness in my muscles, so I decided to slow down my pace to a comfortable speed. Managed to caught up with my pacer towards the end of the race and we finished at the finishing line together in the end! Haha. Cool. The timing on my watch reads 01hr:01min:33secs! Not too bad. Now waiting for the realease of the official timing.

My next target will be 50-55mins for a 12km or 45mins for a 10km!! Haha..

Have been revamping my blog since yesterday. Just wanted something simple and nice as my blog skin as I was browsing through various blog skins. Got some inspirations along the way as I viewed other people's blog and knew what I wanted mine to look like. Came across many free wares too like the Picasa2 Photo Album. The good thing about it is that all my pictures can be stored there on my lappy and I can customised my screensaver, post a web album like the one I tried out at the side. The bad part is that I can't delete that album once it is posted on the web album and that there is limited storage space!!! Plus there is a price to pay for upgrading to bigger storage space!! Man Oh Man.. Guess got to look around for other online photo albums already. Oh ya, at the sides there are some advertisements available. Click it if it interests you!! I'm sure you all what it is about anyway, but I'm just doing it for fun cause I know I don't have much readers in here. Haha.

Later will be going on a shopping spree!! Then in the evening, will be going for a BBQ session with SAFRA Mt Faber Running Club members at ??[Have no idea where is that chalet]. Haha. Tomorrow morning there is a PI Run Series. 12km run in Tampiness area if I'm not wrong. I didn't register for it cause its a 3 series run, which prepares them the AHM and the end of the year SCSM, and as I will be entering NS soon so I won't be able to do all 3 series. Therefore I will just be accompanying them to run tomorrow for fun.

Oh oh.. Yesterday I actually conducted footdrill session to the scouts for the first time in my whole scouting career. Kind of fun. Haha. Kanan Pusang..Kiri Pusang..blah blah. Haha. But damn do they need lots of practice if they are to be a very solid G.O.H this year and I believe they will!! Had First Aid lesson with the year 2's also. Kind of a recap of my scouting days when I went for First Aid Course under St John. Ha. 3 more sessions with the scouts and it's bye bye civilization.

I have been having frequent stomach aches this last few days. The latest was yesterday during my run. Farted countless times while I was jogging back along Magaret Drive Road till I had no choice but to slow down and stop at a coffee shop at Henderson Road to use their toilet. Haha. On tuesday after my run, I also had the same problem. But luckily this time it was after my run had finished. Last thursday one was the worst! I had to go to the toilet so many times till I lost my appetite to eat my dinner!!

How I wish that I had an X-ray machine at home to see my stomach inside. I just have this bad habit of going to the toilet often when I'm outside. When I eat till too full, I would have to go to the toilet after a few minutes. LOL.. My girlfriend says that I have a small stomach. Eat already then come out. Haha. Anyway I hope there is nothing serious with my stomach.

Time passes so fast. In about 2 weeks time, I will be enlisted into the army. Fast.. Looking forward to it cause now my hair is too long and messy, want to cut it also can't cause 2 weeks time will cut again. Waste of money!! Haha. Anyway my short term target is to get into Officer Course to learn leadership skills and keep fit. Planning is really important afterwhich it is up to you to do your best and strive towards your goal. My long term goal is still a fog in my mind, but most probably I will start out as a engineer first in a related field that I'm studying [EEE].

Yup, that is it for today. A slogan created by me, for me to motivate myself when I'm in the army.

Had a mini hike planned out for the scouts yesterday with each group having 2 different checkpoints before finally ending at VivoCity sky park. They were split into 2 groups, Group A & B. Group A checkpoints were on top Mt Faber and Grace Methodist Church, whereas Group B checkpoints were a Thai Temple and another church. Upon reaching their destinations, each team are suppose to take prominent pictures of their checkpoints to prove that they have found the correct checkpoints. At the sky park, we practiced on area surveying sketching. The whole thing was supposed to end before 1800 hours, however there was delays here and there and thus I think it ended quite late. Don't know the exact time cause I left at around 1820 hours as I was late for my jogging session.

Yesterday's jog was supposed to be hill training at Labrador Park. But because there was heavy traffic upon arriving over there, the trainers changed the training to interval training near the sea area. We did 5 sets of 800m with my 1st 4 sets doing quite well averaging about 3:15mins per set. On my last set, I did a relaxed one and finished it in about 3:32mins. Haha. We still had to run back!! So I was conserving my energy. We had a big group of runners too, about 20 runners approximately. Lots of new faces..

Back to blog after some time away..

Having a little bit of trouble writing this blog rite now cause I somehow injured my right shoulder. This morning I woke up was still alright but now I can't even lift my right hand up without filling pain. Man oh man.. NS is just 3 weeks more only!!

Yesterday went to do the 10km Mizuno Mount Faber Run in the morning at 0730 hours. Starting point was at the carpark behind my girlfriend's home. Still not used to running in the morning yet as I have always found it hard to start my "engine" after just waking up. Back to the run.. It was a tough run for many of the runners cause there were many uphills and many of them were dashing right from the starting point like elite runners not realizing that there were more difficult obstacles awaiting them. I knew cause it was like "my territory" as I train there almost every week. I managed to finished it in 55 mins (exact timing was 54:55 mins on my watch). Not too bad but I believed I could have done better had I not walk. "Engine" just could not start. Haha.

Today my Ah Kong came to my house early in the morning cause my dad is sending him for his eye checkup appointment. Got woken up by the doorbell. Went back to GESS in the afternoon to help out in orienteering for the scouts in preparation for their N.P.C Competition. Kind of a crash course for me too before entering army. Haha. There will be a mini hike tomorrow for the team too, to brush up on what they have learnt today. Will be going down tomorrow too.

Oh ya, just to publicized for the current Prefectorial Board [PB]. One of the Ex-co member asked me whether any of the old boys/girls from PB wants to attend their BBQ on the 21 June. Details of the BBQ will be revealed later. So Louis if you happen to read this blog this week, ask around maybe? Its FREE!! I will feel weird though cause it has been some time since I went for any PB events. Anyway, just let me know a.s.a.p.

**Ouch!! My right hand hurts!!!

As I start to count down the days to National Service, it is time to start getting the things I need. Just bought a new plastic spectacles from my dad's friend shop. Cost about $130 with the frame, lens and a pair of rubber hooks. The quality is there and I believe it will last me for the next 2 years of my army life.

Will be a busy week for me this whole week. Wednesday is my Graduation Day where I officially receive my Diploma Cert. Then in the evening going for a seminar on endurance running. Thursday evening have a dinner appointment and from Friday to Monday having a camp at my alma mata. So there goes 1 whole week of my time and the whole month of May.

So now looking forward for my upcoming Graduation Day. Hopefully the buffet will be yummy.. Haha. Nuggets, Sushi .... Yum yum..

Had the urge to write a blog today. Not sure why also. Yesterday went to jog with SAFRA Mt Faber Running Club members. Started to jog with them ever since I came back from the Philippines. Had nothing to do before enlistment so just followed my dad jog with them. Yesterday we jog to Telok Blangah Hill which was quite near the club, can say within walking distance. Anyway we ran up to the car park where we waited for the rest to arrived. We then did a power training where we did 5 loops of 1.2km of power training, own time own target(OTOT) within an hour before heading back to the club for warm down. I'm quite pleased with myself this time round as I managed to complete the 5 loops unlike previous training at Mt Faber. After that we had dinner at Henderson Market. I managed to get some tips from a former national sprinter on how to improve my 2.4km timing to below 10 minutes. In other words, to become the elite of elites for 2.4km run only! However, I know that would take lots of determination and discipline to carry out. But nevertheless, it's worth the try.

Later will be meeting up with all my SPOCS 08 team for lunch back in school since I have been so free. Lots of upcoming events though this few days, starting with having to meet the SPOCS 08 team lecturer to discuss some stuffs either on the thurs or fri, then coming sat going to attend Jia Bao's 21st birthday celebration and then followed by sun going for a volunteer event organised by CDAC. That should be all for this week. My dad's birthday is also coming up too. Wondering what to get for him also.

Yup, that's all for this entry. Looking forward to my enlistment day soon. Counting down 63 more days left! Bye Bye and take care people..

Ma-ayo Aga ["Good Morning"] everyone,

Someone prompted me to update my blog but guess I was too lazy to update it. Got quite sick of updating blogs ever since I came back from the Philippines. It's been like my duty everyday over there to update the blog on our daily activities. Well as you know the facilities over there is not so advanced as Singapore, so it is considered a blessing in disguise if you are able to find an internet connection over there. But well the poor are really too poor to afford the internet while only the wealthy merchants are the only ones being able to afford it. Anyway, I got so scared of updating of our blog over there cause the internet speed over there is only like 14.4kbps and further more its a dial up connection kind!! After midnight, the speed gets slightly faster though. But it's like we have to update we have got to travel all the way to the Mayor's office to use the internet and spent like hours there just to upload the blog posts. Sad. But at least I least I learned to treasure my internet speed a lot more now. Haha.

Anyway, there's really nothing for me to update you people because it has been the same daily routine for me. Sleep, wake up, use the computer, read book, go jogging blah blah blah... Tried looking for a job initially before I got my enlistment letter but to no avail. So since I have already gotten my enlistment letter, time for me to get ready for NS. Anyway, the next upcoming big event for me is my graduation day on the 28 May 2008. Have already rented the robe and borrowed the tie from my friend. I guess it will just be a form of meeting up with my poly friends again. Have yet to received the invitation card from SP yet. But it will be sooner or later stuff anyway.

Well, thats all I got to write about. Hopefully I will be updating my blog soon. "HOPEFULLY" is the word!!! Ha. Adios People. Selamat ["Thank You"] for viewing my blog!

Received my Enlistment Letter from MINDEF finally after a long wait. Will be enlisting on the 10 July 2008 to BMTC School 1 at 0930 hours. Cool!! Yesterday went to Soon Kiat's house to celebrate his 21st birthday. Only a few of us were there only. There were Long Yuan, Zhao Yu, my girlfriend and myself!! Haha. Didn't expect SK to call me to his birthday also. Anyway we had lots of food man! For appetizer, we had fruits fondue. For main course, we had food from KFC and Pizza Hut. We played Mahjong after that!! My first time playing it!! So cool the "swimming " part. Haha. But I roughly got a rough idea of how to play Mahjong already. But they have so many rules to follow then I got so confuse when SK's mum was explaining to us. Haha. Quite addictive also. Haha. Lost $2 in total out of the $9. lol. Tuition fee some say for a beginner. Haha. So we played till like 1800 hours before blowing the birthday cake and then head home.

Thats all for yesterday. MAHJONG!! So addictive. Play online better. Haha.

Felt sick early this morning. Was probably due to the jabs [Typhoid and Tetanus] I took yesterday when I went for the medical checkup for preventive measures before going on an expedition trip. Head felt so "heavy", not much of a fever, body aching especially the arm where the jab was done. Anyway I have already taken the medicine the doctor gave yesterday so I'm feeling way better already. But I still didn't attend training in school as I'm now "resting" at home. Haha.

Tomorrow will be going to watch Leap Years with my girlfriend and shop for some stuffs before my expedition. If you are wondering what expedition trip I'm referring about, I will be heading to Concepcion, Iloilo, Philippines to do Overseas Community Project. Will be there for about 20+ days starting 8/3/2008. Will miss everybody here in Singapore!! Hurhur.. Anyway our team's main project over there is electrification. We have a website and blog which will be updated by the publications team daily on the activities we have done so probably you all can come in daily to have a look when you are free. The website is not up yet but the blog is up already so you all can take a look at it first.

Just got back my results a few days back. Pretty sad with it. My cumulative GPA drop from 3.72 to 3.67!!! What the heck rite.. Gt 4 A's, 1 B, 1 C+ and yeah my C+ grade is my FYP grade!! Freaking results pull my GPA till so low. I was hoping I can maintain it at 3.7!! Curse that supervisor of mine. But the main culprits are my team probably. Enough said about FYP. Hopefully I can get into Uni. I missed this years' application period. Will apply next year. Anyway still thinking of what course to do. Was looking at a Double Degree in Engineering and Economics. Abit of business and at the same time continue on with engineering field. Still have 1 more year to think about it so no worries. Who knows might have new courses that will come out. Anyway our graduation ceremony will be held on the 28/5 at the Convention Centre. Still have to try on the graduation robe in the coming months. Hopefully I will be going in army soon after my expedition. Really don't know what to do when I return from the trip besides working on my NYAA. Haiz.

I just came back from a camp at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. This camp was organized as a pre mini expedition before the actual Overseas Community Project over at Philippines. The experience there was truly amazing I tell you. It was an eye opener to me. Truly amazing!!! I will show you some pictures at the end taken by my team members, which in the day time can't be taken but in the night its a completely different situation over there. At the end of the day, we had to do a video for future presentation to secondary schools students as we were going to be ambassadors for Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves represents Singapore Polytechnic.

Our main activities there were basically Mangrove Salvaging, Coastal Cleaning, Mangrove Reforestation & Night Survey. All the activities there were amazing, however the first and once in a life time experience I would encounter and probably would like to go again would be the Night Survey. Extremely exciting over there. Able to see hear many different species of insects and birds. Came across snakes and monitor lizards. Sadly didn't managed to see fireflies due to the weather conditions as well as see crocodiles due to some other reasons. Probably I shan't write much and post the photos.

Most of these picture are taken up close with the insect/animal itself without zoom and some of them can only be seen at night. Throughout the 2 days of the night survey, I got beaten by mosquitoes countless times!! My group went through the mosquito valley and when we went there, though its dark at night and we can't see but the noise of the mosquitoes buzzing around my ears just scares me!! Nevertheless, this night survey was really an eye opener for me. Too bad I didn't get to see crocodiless on the road. Haha.

Anyway I think I will stop here for the time being. Got to prepare for tomorrow's vocational assessment. See ya!!

Went jogging early this morning with my dad's friends. Terrible run man!! It was like only an 8km run to botanic garden and I had to go to the toilet twice during the run. The first time was at Botanic Garden itself and the second at a restaurant near Demsey Road. Haiz. Very bad stomachache that prevented me from running well. In the end, it took me an hour just to get to the ending point. Bad.

Later will be going over to my indian relatives house for lunch. Going to have my favourite chicken wings again!!! The only dish I take since I don't take spicy food. Haha. Chicken wing after chicken wing.. So fatty and unhealthy. Haha. Luckily I exercise just now. After that my girlfriend's coming over to visit my parents before I go over to visit hers'. Going to play police and thief with her dog again... Haha.

Recently I received a letter from MINDEF telling me to go for a vocational assessment at Hendon Camp aka Commando Camp. Ha. I have been going round telling my relatives about it when I went to visit them this Chinese New Year and they have been saying "Wa..Commando ar!! The training very xiong wan lei..People eat 1 drumstick, you eat 2!!.." Haha... Anyway received lots of advice from friends and family members and I have decided to reject them cause my aim during NS is to get into OCS and become an officer. But if the commando's really choose me then thats fate. I can't do anything about that. My friends tells me to go there during the assessment to feign injury or to so call "slack" then sure won't get into commandos. However something inside me tells me thats not the right thing to do. It's as good as cheating someone. Anyway will see what happens when time comes and update here again.

Back after disappearing for so long!!!! Life is good for me for the time being. Just finished my exams last Friday. That feeling of finishing the very last paper of my whole is just so unbelievable. 3 years passed just like that. The thought of when you first entered Poly till the very last day you leave the Poly. The times you spent with your Poly friends, the times when you have to make new friends every new semester years, the times where you have to stay up late in the night to do reports, mini projects, study for exams, lab test etc. The process just keep repeating each year till that very last Friday. I would probably not miss this process yet, but as times passes and I look back I probably miss the times in Poly. The times where we swap our lab test papers in the middle of a lab test; the times when we played badminton or did pull up during our break time. The many times we had. All in a blink of an eye and its all over.

Anyway life is good for now, preparing for the next phase of grown up life. Got to think carefully what road will I be going through in my next phase. Thought of working part time and study part time after my NS. However still undecided about the course to take. Sad. I need to find that interest.

Anyway all the best to all my poly mates in their future endearvour. Hope you guys prosper well in the obstacles ahead!!

Back!! Been very busy this 1 1/2 weeks of holidays so didn't have the time to blog. And NO!! I was not studying at home or doing my projects at home and in the process of becoming a "NERD". I had gone out searching for birthday presents as well as christmas present as well as celebrating christmas and birthdays and as a result coming home late this few days. Anyway

Got my 1 and only christmas present from Snoozy, my pet hamster! Ha. She gave birth to 2 baby ham ham's but sadly 1 died and so theres still 1 more left. Hopefully he/she will live on. Today will be slacking at home and trying to complete as much work as I can before this holiday comes to an end. Got my exam timetable too. Will be taking 3 papers and the 3 dates are 30/1, 31/1 & 1/2 of the year 2008. In a week time will be my FYP project interview done by my supervisor and another lecturer. Hopefully will be able to score in that area and get an A maybe? So can't blog too much got to prepare for it. Adios people. Chaos.

Holidays are here and freaky enough, my school term is about to come to an end soon! Say in about 1 and a half months time at least. 3 years of poly life just passed just like that. How time flies really fast and wonder what lies ahead for me! Going into army soon. Completed my medical checkup at CMPB and was declared PES A[Combat Fit for all Operations]. Completed my NAPFA in school too and got a GOLD for it plus a free crumpler pouch given to those who passed their NAPFA with either a Silver/Gold.

Last Thursday I went for an interview with the lecturer in charge of this year's Overseas Community Project which I had applied some time back. Thought it was some easy kind of interview which would not take up much time. However the questions that were being asked freak me out! It suddenly felt like I was attending a job interview. Lol. So when I told my girlfriend about those questions she laughed! She said that someone reminded me about all my negative points! Ha. Anyway, my application was approved in the end so it means I will be almost going for the Overseas Project unless my FYP supervisor says otherwise. The trip will be for almost 3 weeks in the month of March so hopefully I would not be enlisted by then.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to Christmas and year-end celebrations where I get to meet up with people I have not seen for quite some time. Don't think will be exchanging presents with anyone but going to spend lots of money this 2 weeks of holiday. Lots of project to do and need to also study for the upcoming final year exams. Anyway thats it for now. Going to watch Star Awards now. Bye!

Back after a week of mid semester exams. Had 4 papers on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Did fairly alright i guess. Just got back my 1st paper today, got 80/100 for my Mobile Applications Development. Not bad since that was my 1st paper and I didn't have sufficient time to study much on it during the weekends due to some volunteering work. Probably will be getting back the rest of the papers this week and looking forward to the upcoming school holidays too!

Saturday went for my cousin's wedding dinner. Attended their morning tea ceremony and their solemnization ceremony too. Went for their tea ceremony just for the buffet lunch since they were having it. At the solemnization ceremony, saw them exchange their marriage vows with each other and heard their pastor said something really funny..
The pastor was saying of how couples before they get married call their girlfriends Barbie Doll.. After marriage, calls their wife Cute Doll.. Then after 1 year of their marriage calls her Nice Doll.. Then after another 1 year, calls her Doll only.. Finally after 5 years after their marriage, the husband calls her what??? Pana-Doll[Panadol]... Haha..
Of course the pastor said he believes my cousin and his wife-to-be marriage won't be like that after knowing them for so long in the same church.

Anyway life's good, life's great. Coming Friday will be having my NAPFA test followed by Sunday having the Standard Chartered Run. After which there will be no more runs for the year which means I can relax and run leisurely! Time's going to pass real fast and soon I'm going to graduate and get my Diploma and enter Army soon. What am i going to do after that?? The path is still not clear yet.. Will update here again. Choys.

Well since I'm doing my studying online, thought of just updating my blog in the meantime.

Went to Pulau Ubin on Wednesday with my poly friends. Here are the statistics:

Then Saturday had the Standard Chartered Marathon Volunteers Briefing at 1500 hrs. Registered it when I was browsing through their website some months ago. So i thought about it and say why not?? Every year I have been running the race, so this year just got curious to see what goes on behind the scenes in a big race like this. So I signed up as a volunteer for the packers' crew for just 2 days on a weekend due to school commitments. Lol. Hope it will be fun though, make new friends blah blah blah. Lots of benefits too for volunteers who signed up. Evening time went to catch "Game Plan" the movie with Louis and girlfriend. Really funny show!! Laughing every few minutes during the show. Haha.

Hi there people, time to update on my very this week. A week of celebrations!!

Celebrated my Ah Kong's Birthday last Sat, at the same restaurant we celebrated with him last year around the central area. He ain't getting young anymore, celebrating his 80th birthday, but he still looks healthy and still moving around independently though he still has some old people symptoms like losing of teeth blah blah.. Anyway celebrating his birthday every year is always a bonus for us, his grand-children & his very own kids since we all seldom meet up very often due to busy schedules so this is always a chance to get together and sit down to mix around with my uncles & aunties & my cousins. We had an 8 course meal plus 2 birthday cakes to eat! So the dinner was very filling of course. Hang around till around 11+ before we all went home. Though my Ah Kong's Birthday is over, but I still like to wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope to celebrate many more birthdays with him!

Moving on, I celebrated another person's birthday. He is none other than my very OWN BIRTHDAY!! Lol.. Celebrated with my family members at a Chinese Restaurant near my home in the evening the day before. Went to school that day to take a role play test and had a lecture. Everything went smoothly for the role play test except that I didn't have that X-Factor!! And in the evening went to have a simple feast at a Japanese Restaurant with some of my other friends. Anyway want to thank some people here on my blog. Thank You Reuben for checking your email that day and telling the others! Dots.. Thank You for posting your birthday wishes very BIG on your blog!! Thank You Vignish for that delicious ice-cream treat!! Thank You Louis for that nice, shiny looking strap you bought!! And Thank You to my GF for getting me two very special friends! Haha.. Its a very special and unexpected gift I got this year.

Hi people, back to blog briefly of whats been happening in my life so far! There's good news & bad news too!!

Firstly, school has started 3 weeks ago but it seems like the 1st week of school to me only cause I have just got my bound notes only last week and have only started listening to the lectures only today!! Furthermore in another 3 weeks time it will be E-Learning Week and follwed by another 2 weeks time will be our Mid-Semester Test! Time really pass really fast.

Now for the bad news!! Got really disappointed when I saw the email. My team wasn't selected for the SPINNOVEX exhibition for next year, which would have ensure us an A or probably a Distinction for our FYP. But who can I blame actually? Our supervisor? My team members? Or myself as their leader? I think I can't blame anyone, all I can say is that we didn't do enough to deserve a place in SPINNOVEX.

Enough said about school stuffs. For the good news!! I'm going to revamp my blog sometime later. Haha. Changing the music and the blogskin! My gf has been asking me to change the music especially!! Haha.

Anyway NAPFA & Standard Chartered Marathon is approaching soon. Started to train for both already but have not really gauge myself so far in terms of the progress made especially for 2.4km run. Have been struggling with Standing Broad Jump too. Will be going Ubin on one of the days later this month, either with my poly mates or with GUSTO. Maybe both too. Haha. Its been a long time since I went there to cycle/hike. Guess that place must have changed alot too but hopefully not the bike rental price! Ha.

Anyway I'm just going to focus on my last semester till the day I officially graduate. I'm determined to improve both my GPA's on my last and final semester!

Here I am... Blogging away time while waiting for my dinner to be back. My mum's not home with my dinner yet. Always have irregular dinner times in my home but its for my best, if not my mum will threaten us to buy our own dinner next time!! Kind of old fashion method and a despicable one too, but it somehow still works on me. Haha. But I won't use it on my children next time cause its a rather lame excuse to make.

Went to school today to do FYP. But ended doing not much stuffs and rather having our own gatherings of playing CM & PSP. Lol. Well at least we have been working hard on it, i guess. But there are still lots of things to do so still got to work even harder. But compared to my other friend group doing the same project, they are probably working even harder than us. Lols. So in other words, my group is quite SLACK!!! 3 brains doing the same stuff for the past few months and still unable to complete it till now!! Hahas. Thats sad.

Hi people, i'm back blogging. Haven't been blogging for quite some time i know. Been occupied with preparations for my 4 exam papers. Overall quite okay for all the papers that i took. Quite confident that I will pass all my modules, however its a matter of how well I have scored for all my modules. Will keep you all posted when the results are out on the 12 September.

So its the start of my "holiday" today. Can't really consider it a holiday since I will have to go to school almost everyday to do my FYP. Anyway the holidays only last for a month meaning school will reopen on the 24 Sept, meaning I will be graduating around Jan next year.

Today went out in the afternoon to Louis's house. Went to dye my hair cause gt too many white hairs already. Haha. Too bad couldn't get to cut my hair as well so will be doing so tomorrow. This coming Sun got the "Safra Bay Run". A yearly big event also formerly known as the "Sheares Bridge Run & Army Half Marathon". Last year ran 21km, but this year will be switching the digits around. Will be doing 12km this year. Haha. Probably will be a big crowd there and hopefully it doesn't rain on that day even though it will be nice to run in the rain. Haha.

Going to spent alot this month because many events are coming up. Probably going for my 1st class chalet coming up soon. Then got the "Big Date" coming up. Haha. That one sure have to save up alot. Then going for a lunch date with my former tuition mates before 1 of them becomes BOTAK! Too bad I won't be able to get to work this holiday again. Always wanted to work during the holidays to earn some extra $$ but somehow sure got something stopping me from doing so. So guess have to wait for army. Really looking forward to army life. Haha. But got to complete my NAPFA test first. It will be conducted during Nov-Dec. Got to book a date at a later time. Not so soon.

In exactly 4 weeks time will be my upcoming final year examinations afterwhich I will have 1 last semester to go before I graduate with my Diploma!! So excited. Lol.. Anyway hope to do well for this upcoming exams since its my last year already. Gt to work hard like the way I play hard too!! Haha.. So people wish me luck!! :)

This month there are so many people's birthday going on. Going broke soon buying presents for some of them. Haha. However its okay since they are all my friends!! :P

Hi there!! Its been a long time since I last blog. Say about a month? Haha. Been pretty busy with school stuffs and my own personal things. Anyway just a thing or two about my progress this few weeks!

My MST papers have just passed and I have gotten back all my results this week. Did fairly alright for my computer modules but can't say the same for my communication modules. Overall average is about 70/100 for each paper i guess. Anyway for 1 of my computer papers, the lecturer of that module gave the top 3 person of my class some prizes for doing well. Somehow for "studying so hard", I managed to come in top in class and so of course I got the top prize. Haha. Guess what he gave me? 3 Bollywood Music CD's, 1 Game-Axis Magazine(September 2006 Edition!!) & something like a party spectacle! Wahaha! What am i supposed to do with 3 Bolloywood Music CD's!! 1 of my classmate suggested giving it to 1 of my indian classmate on his birthday! Haha. Will consider..

After MST went to catch "Transformers" that movie with my really great friend & my girl. F****** awesome movie! Heard & seen these words from those who had watched the movie and commented about it. Serious! Must go and catch the show. Really worth your money! Next movie I will be catching will be "Harry Potter & the Order of Pheonix". Have already the movie tickets in advanced and will be catching it next week. Hopefully it will be as good as "Transformers".

Today supposed to meet up and do FYP with my group members but ended up walking round the school looking for our supervisor and doing nothing except for some research! Really struggling with this FYP cause we don't really know where to start since its continued from past years project. Now my only desire is to just pass this project and I will be satisfied already. Haha. Where's the miracle!!!! Where's the miracle!!! We need a break through!!! Someone help us!!! LOL..

Today's a Sunday. Great day to stay home & do your personal stuff with no one disturbing you. Currently blogging & studying for my open book lab test tomorrow. But this time it won't be my book that I'll be using, it will be the lecturer who will be providing the book. Well beats having no book right! Anyway this will be my last week in school before breaking for 2 weeks of study week & followed by 1 week of MST. Will be having 2 lab tests this week. Tomorrow and friday! The start of a new week & the beginning of a 2 weeks hoilday!

Went to Changi Airport for an excursion with the Gusto Club early in the morning. Visited Budget Terminal which is really very "budget" cause the place is so small!! Then proceeded on the T2 and then to T1 using the sky train afterwhich all were dismiss from there. Though over there had not much of things to do, but just bringing them there to see the planes, walk around the airport can be quite fruitful thing too. You will be surprise many of the students there never had the chance to see the airport & not to mention go there or see planes take off or land. Anyway went to the PC Show @ Suntec later that day with my parents to look for a new laptop. Ended up I bought a new HP laptop & my dad bought his long awaited Super multi DVD & HDD Recorder. Learnt a few bargaining techniques from my dad too! Haha.

Here I am now at the ARICC Club doing my FYP project & blogging at the same time! :p

It's been a slow start to our FYP project for all that I can say. It's been 5 weeks since we started on our project but here I am still going through & understanding the programming structure of the robots & how it works. Don't know where to begin so think I will be just start by modifying the programmes from previous batch works & from there I will see how it goes. Hopefully I will be achieve my target of an A for this project & who knows go for a Distinction! But I know the clock is ticking down every minute and there's not much time left! 8 months/32 weeks is all we've got & that time frame is neither long nor a short. Hopefully my team members understands this & we shall all work harder yea & PLAY LESS WINNING ELEVEN. Hahas. Met, Know, Seen many people who has this bad habit of completing their work last minute including myself. At the end of the day, they rush their work & end up handing up some lousy piece work. Been trying to change this bad habit for some time but somehow its still 'within' me. Hahas. But I'll try to change it for sure!

Anyway enough about FYP projects, Independent Learning Week/E-Learning Week is over too {Yippee}, more on Vesak Day! Woohoo a public holiday! But a BooBoo Day for me! Morning went to play tennis with my family even though I lack of sleep. After tennis had breakfast at Ghim Moh market. Long time since I went there already. The surroundings didn't change much though. Anyway what irks me on that day was my carelessness when I was parking the car after reaching home! I struck the front right side of the car against the slope of the carpark! It was a normal routine parking & yet I was so careless! Haix. I felt so bad denting my dad's car{his mistress}. Could feel the anger in him so the 1st thing I went home was to lie on the bed & sleep! Haha. I wasn't feeling well too thats why I went to sleep. Been having flu and sore throat the last few days and now the cough has come. Went to catch Shrek 3 too! Short & Sweet if thats what they call it. Nothing special about it. Just your normal cartoon on TV.

Went to the PC show @ Suntec too. So crowded as usual but the things there are really cheap to some extend. Might be going back there to get a new laptop. After which met Louis & his bro & had ice cream @ Gelare.

Tml have the Gusto session early in the morning. Going to Changi Airport for excursion. Still thinking on whether to go or to declare sick. Haha. Oh ya, for those who got watch "Just follow Law" that movie, you might have heard an old lady mention www.laozhabor.blogspot.com on the movie itself. Believe it or not! Yesterday's GEM's presentation was a total failure!
Firstly, when i received the ppt slide from my group leader for our project, there were only 5 slides including the "Thank You" slide! And I was like:
"What the .. Only 5 slides and no animation!"
So being a kind soul, I decided to edit up the ppt slide and add in some animation effect so that the audience can understand our presentation better. However after when I have done finished the ppt slide was I then told that they have also edited their ppt slide too! So I was like hoping that they would be using my ppt slide but of course I'm alright if they decided to use theirs instead since they have edited it too. But don't know which dumbass person who edited the ppt slides did a bloody bad job man. 1 new slide + animations. Which means 1 person to a slide and I was told to do the conclusion part and the "Thank You" part & I was like "OK". But actually in my mind I was scolding them for not using my ppt slide! Haha..
Secondly our ppt slide, compared to the other groups, was like the worst of all! Our background colour was black and so when they project it out onto the screen during the presentation, the 1's and the 0's on the boolean table can't be seen at all! Well, it didn't cross my mind that this would happen so it will be just another lesson learnt! Anyway got to buck up on our last 2 projects already. I wannnnnnnt to get my 2nd Distinction!!! And also I think I need to start talking slowly during presentation!! I realised I talk too fast sometimes when I'm presenting. Maybe too nervous already. Must change this bad habit fast. Anyone got a solution?? Hehe..

Yesterday also went to watch "Bridge to Terabithia" with Ah Bee. Initially had the trouble of pronouncing the word "Terabithia" so I just told the ticketing uncle there: "Eh..2 tickets for Bridge to something something." Then he pointed me the poster of that show behind him and I say ya. Haha. But after watching the show, I finally master Tera-bi-thia!! The show is so-so only. Basically it just shows you how imaginative a kid can get. Not worth the $9.50 tickets on weekends from my opinion.

I'm BACK!!! Been a long time since I've blog. Been really busy in school and other committments. 2 weeks ago, I went to watch Spidey Parker. Didn't expect the show to be so long. 140 mins! But overall the show was up to standard. The storyline was there, the recap of previous spidey movies was there, the climax was there and the ending was there too with Spidey & Mary Jane back together! Everything just link together! Next movie I'm going to catch will probably be BRIDGE to TERABITHIA.

Anyway been really busy in school lately. Have to do FYP, den Mini Project work just came knocking in, GEMs Project Presentation this coming Wed, Independent Learning Week coming in 2 weeks time and by then more assignments will come in. Just trying to cope with it.

Yesterday I went for a workshop with my Bee organised by Gusto & planned by WAND INSPIRATION. Its called "Looking In, Reaching Out" & it's held for all volunteers. A very enriching and inspirational workshop. Got to salute to the male speaker for having the courage to sing a CHINESE SONG which he COMPOSE HIMSELF but his chinese is just as bad as mine. Haha. Anyway kudos to PAUL! If you want to know who he is, watched every Sat, Ch 8, 2130 show.

So I will end here. But before I end I just want to say:

Just came in here and want to share with you people about this DISGUSTING BLOGGER's blog I read today!!

It's about a tragic incident that happened recently involving 4 students and 1 of which, a girl by the name of Debra, drown as a result of their playfulness or immaturity?? Why I say this?? Simply because if they had not thrown the bag containing someone handphone into the canal and had to climb into the canal to pick up the bag. Neither of them would have had to seek shelter in the canal(due to heavy rain) and be wash away by the strong current of water causing the drowning of 1 of the girls! If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the newspaper(today's & yesterday's newspaper)!!

Anyway this blogger is just so overjoyed by the fact that 1 of her schoolmate had died that she can't wait to celebrate!! Just where is her conscience?? I just wonder.. In her butt?? Maybe.. Anyway the link is below. Go take a look and maybe tag her?? hAhA.. Just don't get me involved!!

Just came back from a 10km Mt Faber Run held by Henderson CC. Went with my dad and his jogging khakis and it took me more than an hour to complete considering the fact that I didn't train much for this run. The flag off time was supposed to be 0730 but it delayed for about 5-10 mins around there. The toughest challenge was of course running up Mt Faber!! I remember myself just running 30% and walking 70% up the entire up slope. Haha. Consume too much of my energy and I still have a long way too go!! The down slope was fun as usual for most of us as thats the time where runners can relax their legs. The rest of the journey was just jog, walk, jog, walk. Ran pass Radin Mas Primary School, Tiong Bahru Park, GESS and back to Henderson CC that route. For our hard work in waking up early in the morning and completing the 10km Mt Faber Run, all runners were given free Mizuno Dry Fit T Shirts + free flow of 100 plus bottle drinks at the end of the race!! Well thats it for my 1st run for this year and another runner tee added to wardrobe!! Haha. More runs to come for me!! Next run if I'm not wrong will be New Balance Real Run held in Sentosa yearly. If not then my next guess would be the Sheares Bridge Run & Army Half Marathon. Well whatever it is, better start training!! Adios people!! Going to do my work.

Just came back from school, so here I am now at home updating my blog. Pretty slack in class just now. Had lab for my 1st lesson & followed by a lecture. During lab, we saw some of the FYP done by previous years student for that module. All pretty nice done and very creative. The lecture class was totally redundant man. No textbook, no notes, no nothing, how do u expect me to absorb anything during lecture!! I was just staring at the screen and maybe day-dreaming at the same time?? Haha.Saw Amy when I was walking towards the MRT Station going home that time. She was probably just going to school and I have just ended school!!

Last Saturday was Dragon Scouts 85th Anniversary Campfire. Went back on friday evening to help them out in building the gateway which was designed by the Chapters. Managed to reunite with some of my fellow batch people like Raymond, WeeLeong, Glenn, LupKern, TuYuan, TeckSeng.. Been a long time since I saw most of them. Miss them all! Haha. The event didn't run so smoothly due to the rain pouring halfway and stopping halfway during the campfire. Causing everyone having to move from the arena to the hall and back to the arena again! The GOH who grace this event was Member of Parliament Ms Indranee Rajah who was always accmpanied by Mr Giam(Bus Driver) throughout this event. Heard that they say the event was a success though it was quite short. But I have my doubts though. Haha. Shh... I'm just a video recorder man. Haha.

Anyway its no more soccer trainings, no more ITP and back to focusing on my final school term for me! Going to the gym later to train my fitness. Got a 10km Mt Faber run this coming Sunday and I have yet to train for it!! Omg, going to suffer for this run!! Haha. See you people later!! :p Adios..

Another week has passed and how time flies really fast! 5 more days and my ITP will be over while my friends from other polys will be just starting theirs. Had a really good and painful hands-on experience during this 9 weeks of ITP period.

Went out on "Good Friday" night with Lichoo, Mrs Somebody & Louis. Went to dine at Kim Gary Restaurant[Hong Kong Restaurant] at VivoCity on the 2nd floor. The food there are pretty cheap and good and they have many exquisite drinks on the menu. Too bad I was unable to try all of it, if not I might be made to wash the dishes on that day! Haha. Hang around Vivo after dinner till almost midnight before we all went home.

Sat went for Club Gusto programme. Had "Meet-the-Parents-Session" with those students in these programme to explain more to the parents about this programme and hopefully the parents will encourage these students to come for this programme every Sat! Sad to say I'll be missing next week Ice-Breaking Session due to other committments elsewhere. But Mrs Somebody will be there to represent me and I know she will do a great job!! Haha.

Mrs Somebody and I are going to do our NYAA Bronze & Gold respectively. My aim is to complete it by the end of this year cause for Gold award, the award presentation is once every 2 years!! So I predict next year will be the next award ceremony and so I must not miss this opportunity!! It's 1 of the most prestigious award given in Singapore so people try to get this award yea!!

Anyway I shall end it here for today. Pretty sad day cause MAN U lost 2-1 to PORTSMOUTH!! ****!! Sad man. So now I think the title race will be down to the last game of the season. Haiz. So come on MAN U! {Win the title!} Come on KEN! {Get your NYAA Gold} Haha

It has not been a great week for me. Shan't mention why cause thats for me to know and for you to find out!! Anyways March is ending soon. Juz left 1 more day which is tomorrow and is April. How time flies!! Anyway just be alert on 1st April yea. It's April Fools Day and your friend's might make a "cuckoo" out of you on that day. So BEWARE!! Haha.

Anyway in 2 weeks time, it will be the end of my ITP[Industrial Training Programme].{yeah} But it will be the start of a new school term!!{sianz} Into my final year modules and final year projects so gonna work real hard. Recently just got my timetable!! Pretty slack this coming semester. Taking 6 modules inclusive of my year long Final Year Project. Wonder what my group will be working on for this project. Hopefully you will see my face on television next year being interviewed by reporters!! Hehe.

Oh ya!! Forgot to mention that Dragon Scouts will be having their 85th Anniversary Campfire on the 14th April 2007!! Will be going back to help out in the preparations right after my last day of work. Yearning to see my fellow batch of people again!! Miss them so much!! Haha. Some are already probably in army already. Hopefully the msg and email has been passed around and hope to see them on that day!!

Today went for a trial photo shoot at some photo shooting studio who called my dad to come down and try out. Went there, quite a nice and big company, and there was this guy who came up to us and introduces himself and afterwhich we went off for our photo shooting session. We went up stairs, put on some make-up, style up our hairs and off we went for the photo shooting into the different rooms.First we had the usual family protrait taken den followed by individuals photo being taken and blah blah blah... I was made to posed holding a guitar and pretending to strum it as if I was some kind of professional with it!! Anyway the most tiring thing was to keep on smilimg whenever you are posing for the camera. But when we have a funny photographer around to crack jokes, no way will you not be able to smile!!
After photo taking, we had our make-up remove off and went down to view the photos. Altogether 52 shots were taken but we were only given 2 free photos as we had not sign up with them[too expensive]. Heard that only invited people are allowed to come and take photos, they do not entertain walk-ins!! Anyway through looking through the photo did it make me realised that I have got to see a dentist soon!!! Its been ages since I last went to clean my teeth so dentist here I come!!

On to other matters though. I have joined Club Gusto with Mrs Somebody. Thought it might be a good chance to work on my NYAA Gold as well as to do something meaningful every saturdays with her. Will see how it goes for this 6 months before I start to plan further and hopefully an opportunity to go do overseas community service to experience and complete the residential project part. Been dragging this award for many years and somehow I just feel this is the right time to complete this award and shake the hands of President Nathan! Afterwhich I plan to go back and help out Dragon Scouts. Just waiting for the right moment!! Too many committments!!

What a NIGHT it has been man!!! Met my BeegIe at Redhill MRT Station and we went to cut our hair around Tanjong Pagar area there immediately after my work. Then took our dinner at Maxwell Market. The Hum Chim Pang there is super cheap [7 for $1] but it's quite small though with sugar added on it. Quite nice! Forgot to take a picture of it. Haha!

Anyway thats was not the main point. The main point was when we were on the bus [I was sending my BeegIe back home then!]. There was this indian man, whose body totally reak of liquor smell, sat next to me!! Luckily starting nothing much happen as he was busy talking to his friend he met on the bus. But once he friend sat down away from him, he turned his attention on me man!! He asked me questions like it was his freaking business like that.
Indian man: " Is she your girlfriend??"
Me: "Ya!! -_-lll"
Indian man: Where do you stay??"
Me: "Ehh..[Sensored]??"
Indian man: "....[can't hear properly in the bus cause too noisy!]
Me: [Didn't answer his question then just suddenly sat up straight!]
Indian man: " Not happy ar!! (Just quoting from his expression on his face cause he was scolding in malay)"
And because of this freaking indian man, I had to alight 2 stops earlier in case a fight or commotion would start out because of him!! Xue te!! Err!! Anyway its better to be safe than to be sorry cause indians are the most dangerous people when they are soooo drunk!! You name it, the news has it!! [Not trying to be racist here but it's TRUE].

Anyway shall not write anymore. Got to work tomorrow. Another $20 to earn. Continue next time! Good Nitez!

Well this is my 1st time blogging and gosh did this took me long to get it up and going. Took me HOURS to search for a nice blog skin & till now I have not found a nice skin yet {gosh!!}.. So I just pick one from out of the blue and got this skin!! Quite nice though.

Anyway hopefully I'll be running this bloggie for quite some time but definately won't be posting everyday though cause I'm on attachment right now afterwhich school reopens. I'm currently being attached to Applied Digital System Pte Ltd. Work starts at 750 - 1720. Wierd timing isn't it.
